Rachel Sedacca - Words & Music
I was honored to have been invited to Japan as the headlining act at the Country jamboree high in the mountains of Gifu above Nagoya. During my trip I was taken sightseeing by my gracious hosts and visited so many incredible shrines and temples taht were particularly interesting to me on account of my background in religious studies. This song reflects the awe-inspiring trip that will stay with me forever.
Tell me all about heaven.
My sky's a deeper shade of blue.
It's not that I don't have religion,
I may not find God where he found you.
I see God in the red of a rose,
I see God when the sunset glows,
In the beauty of all that's true,
In the love of a loyal friend like you.
I never found a box that I could fit inside.
So many colors of my soul!
So many wonders where my interests lie,
So much to do before I'm old.
The great Pacific, well, she beckons me.
The mystery and wonder of Japan,
Golden Buddha made of wood sittin' tall as any tree,
It's God expressed by the hands of man.
I never found a box that I could fit inside.
So many colors of my soul!
So many wonders where my interests lie,
So much to see before I'm old.
God can be found in the sound of music.
The sight of Venus when the day is done.
It's the artist's certain sense of style,
God bless us everyone...
I never found a box that I could fit inside.
So many colors of my soul!
So many wonders where my interests lie,
So much to see before I'm old.
